Form 990

IRS Form 990 is used by tax exempt organizations, non-exempt charitable trusts, and section 527 political organizations to provide the IRS with information on the organization's mission, programs, and finances. The traditional 990 Form, also known as the 990 Long Form, is filed by organizations with gross receipts greater than or equal to $200,000 and/or total assets greater than or equal to $500,000 at the end of the tax year. Tax 990 turns filling out Form 990 into an interview-style process, having you answer simple questions regarding your organization then checking for any obvious errors before you transmit.

Form 990-EZ

Form 990-EZ is also used by tax exempt organizations to report information to the IRS, but it's used by organizations with gross receipts between $50,000 and $200,000, or total assets of less than $500,000 at the end of the tax year.

Form 990-N (e-Postcard)

Form 990-N, or the e-Postcard, is filed by organizations who receive $50,000 or less in total gross receipts for the tax year. With Tax 990, you can complete Form 990-N in less than 10 minutes! How's that for easy filing?

Form 990-PF

Form 990-PF is used by tax exempt organizations that also qualify as Private Foundations, regardless of their total gross receipts for the tax year, to report contribution details from the year. And now that you can e-file Form 990-PF with Tax 990, it's easier than ever to complete this IRS return!

Form 1120-POL

Form 1120-POL is an IRS form filed yearly by political organizations and certain tax-exempt organizations. Typically, those who file Form 1120-POL are political organizations with taxable income remaining after taking the $100 specific deduction for the taxable year. Form 1120-POL is usually filed along with Schedule D and may require additional attachments and schedules as is applicable to the organization filing which can all be completed through Tax 990.

Form 8868

Tax 990 users can also file Parts I & II of Form 8868, the extension form for 990 forms. E-file Part I for an automatic extension of three months to file and Part II for a non-automatic additional three months.
